Live More Sustainably

I've always realized while buying groceries as I felt guilty about the plastics I purchase and do nothing about it. I've been looking for a way to make the world a better place ~ my small world. I found these tips that I'm going to share them with you.

Tips on embracing a zero-waste lifestyle :

  1. Stopped buying packaged food.

  2. Began shopping second-hand

  3. Downsized

Benefits: save money, eats healthier, feel better, and be happier living in direct alignment with her values.

Suggests 3 simple steps to reduce your waste:

  1. Look at your trash so you can identify where the bulk of your waste is coming from.

  2. Pick at the low-hanging fruit.

    • What little changes can you make in your life that will have a significant, long-lasting impact?

3. Embrace the DIY life: learn how some or all of your own products to climate packaging and customize your goods to be exactly how you want them to be.

REMEMBER. if you DO have plastic options, use them before you switch. buy the newer one when you run low, but don’t throw away a plastic hairbrush that is perfectly fine unless it breaks. THEN switch to the bamboo version!
